Building surroundings
The surroundings of a building complement its architecture. They enhance the entrance area, creating the first impression and serving as a primary space for relaxation and rest for the building’s users. The surroundings can harmonize with the city or form microspaces that become the seed of new quality, especially when the building is adjacent to disorder and chaos. When needed, the environment acts as a buffer, protecting against harmful external factors. The area around the building also contributes to the view from the window, shaping the environment for work, life, and living.
City scale
We seek connections that unify large parts of the city. We develop ways to utilize existing urban spaces and create new landmarks with strong impacts on their surroundings, transforming reality. We rehabilitate degraded areas and design developments that integrate with the city’s unique functioning in each location. When no ready-made solution exists, we create one. We reduce the impact of car traffic and return urban space to residents by removing barriers and crafting friendly, welcoming places. We build cities for people.
Landscape architecture
Our landscape architecture creates multifunctional spaces designed for all age groups. These areas provide opportunities for vigorous physical activity, leisurely walks, and observing local flora and fauna. They include play zones for young children and older kids alike. The spaces also support social gatherings, cultural events, and culinary experiences. We deliver unique, sensory-rich environments that engage all the senses and foster high biodiversity. Our designs incorporate solutions to reclaim areas affected by noise pollution. We create spaces that can be enjoyed throughout every season and by everyone.
Sustainable development
For each site, we develop a strategy that embraces sustainable development principles. We start by reducing urban heat island effects. Next, we manage rainwater and protect the area from excessive drying. We explore thoughtful technological solutions that harness solar energy and wind power. Our approach includes noise protection and reducing artificial light pollution. We assess the potential to restore natural qualities of the place that have been lost or forgotten. Ensuring that local conditions and feasibility analyses form the foundation of every strategy is a priority.
