The last Architecture lecture with us this year as part of the lecture series organized by ARCH_event. Since St. Nicholas’ Day is approaching, we were delighted to give two participants of the lecture the album “Green Building Envelopes – The Latest in Eco-Friendly Architecture.”

The presentation of the FNP headquarters, designed by FAAB, was included in the album “Green Building Envelopes – The Latest in Eco-Friendly Architecture.” The publication, edited by Sibylle Kramer (Braun Publishing, 2025), covers the most visionary buildings from around the world. Realizing the idea of integrating vegetation into architecture.

In addition to photographs by Jakub Certowicz, the album includes drawing material depicting the complicated fate of the building.

We discussed various ways of introducing greenery into urban spaces—from transforming squares into parks, through implementing vertical green facades, to building vertical parks. Most importantly, we emphasized that architecture is function, form, ecological and social responsibility—all in one. Thank you to everyone who attended and listened, and to ARCH_event for organizing the event.

We had the great pleasure of actively participating in the exhibition and scientific conference of the nationwide project “Design in Process 2024,” titled “LIVING AND IMAGINED MATERIALS.” Adam Figurski from FAAB spoke about the complex process behind the creation of our projects, including the Regional Blood Donation and Blood Treatment Center (RCKiK) in Racibórz, the Foundation for Polish Science (FNP) headquarters in Warsaw, the European Family Center (ECR) in Sopot, and the PL2118 project. At the exhibition held at the Academic Design Center in Łódź, the space of the Municipal Health Resort was showcased. This is one of the components forming an alternative development plan for Piłsudski Square in Warsaw, as well as the Wave 1 project. Thank you for the invitation to participate in the event!

Each year, a selected group of people who care deeply about the appearance of Polish cities and villages are invited to nominate candidates for the Award: the most outstanding architects and urban planners, architecture critics, representatives of associations working for order in public space, as well as well-known artists.
